60 bed elderly care home for Caring Homes Limited

This parcel of land was used historically as a paddock and was initially deemed to be out of settlement by the Local Planning Authority.  Northstar designed a scheme which showed how a new 60 bed care facility could integrate with the existing settlement and be treated as an infill development and thus be supported by the Planners. We designed a scheme which was sensitive to the historic local area whilst providing a care home with lounges and bedrooms looking out over the River Thames and giving easy links to a waterfront café and the Thames footpath beyond.
