LEE'S ROLE: Lee provides expertise in the main engineering disciplines of Civil and Structural Engineering. He is responsible for all engineering aspects of a project from initial proposals to the production of the design and detailed information package. Lee always maintains a close working relationship with the foundation designer and geotechnical engineer ensuring that cost effective and sustainable solutions can be found to suit the site. HE GOT HIS START: Lee commenced his initial training with a firm of consulting engineers as a structural engineer whilst simultaneously studying to pass the equivalent qualifications in Civil Engineering. Once qualified, Lee continued to work as a Structural Engineer in the general engineering section of a private sector consultancy. When the company he was working for joined forces with one of the largest engineering firms in the world – WSP Group - Lee began to work on a broader range of projects but his focus was mainly on delivering residential and care home projects across the UK. Lee became an Associate Member of the Institute of Structural Engineers and has recently been part of an award winning team which has seen success in the Regional and National RICS Awards as well as Consultant of the Year Award in the Builder & Engineers Awards 2012, as well as being shortlisted as a finalist in the 2013 Housing Innovation Awards for Most Innovative Consultant.
